new year new hope new resolutions!
my grades were bad; i barely scrapped a 2nd lower for my gpa. but i am fully aware that i deserve such results because i had been slacking away my 1st sem haha and im laughing not because im not feeling remorseful but because i have better ways to channel my grievances.2oo7 resolutions(please make them happen CSY)
1.achieve much much better grades than last sem
2.go to the park and run or hit the jurong west gym more often
3.eat heathily
4.spend less(my account is -ve now) so as to save more for the mid-year overseas trip
5.play a better role in life- as a daughter, girlfriend, friend and studentthats rather all. dont see only got 5 of them cuz they look quite tough to me now lol.
and finally a CHIOBU GANG GATHERING on tuesday with full attendance- amanda, hsunting, jiani, ade, mich and me! i know our clique had a super dumb and bhb name but nobody would laugh at us cuz we cooked that up during the secondary school days, well unless you loser didnt have any!!! we went to themindcafe at boat quay again and i played mostly the exact same games as i did with my uni friends last week haha. but it was fun because we were all entertaining one another.

CB gang gathering @ themindcafe:the first game that we played which was something like a reaction game and predictably, ade and hsunting were fighting to be the loser with the largest pile of cards
this game reminded me of marketing as each of us had to play as an advertiser to attract consumers with suitable ad slogans for various products and the game got kinky soon after cuz there were products like condoms, lingerie, stool softener etc
we had to answer rather cheem questions and i was actually THE idiot at the end of the game!
ah-ha! manda's fave game because she's a cunning and scheming person. the objective was for the elves to construct paths to find the gold at the end and the sabotuers to prevent them from doing so. jiani got the sabotuer card more than 5 times haha, and mich & ade actually turned out to be sly foxes!!!

oh on new year's day i went to reub's first 3 months' class outing, to celebrate one of their friends' 21st birthday on the yacht. quite cool haha.
and my poor reub is resuming his days of army life now. press on at least youre going to ORD soon.
school's starting next tuesday for me and i promise i will not dread it because i must have a positive attitude towards NTU! yes I LOVE NTU!!!
